Getting and Using Criticism

I've got some heavy deadlines this week, in my personal life, so I'm linking over to another blog post for the day.

Tristi Pinkston, with Valor Publishing, wrote a wonderful post about Getting and Using Criticism. In writing, putting ourselves out there for criticism is one of the hardest things we do, but it's also one of the most important.

I blogged my thoughts about it a couple weeks ago, but if you want more, check out what Tristi says about it here.

Thanks for the link!! Looks like a great site for beginners like myself. I don't know that I can actually call myself a writer yet. I've written - and thrown out - a couple of children's picture books. Right now I'm experimenting with a young adult novel. We'll see how it goes. Hopefully I can one day link myself in the category of "writer."

Rebecca- if you write, you are a writer! It took me a while to get comfortable using that term to descibe myself, but it's true. I don't call myself an author yet, I'm reserving that for when I get published, but I AM a writer. So are you!
